What does it mean to be a locavore? According to the most reliable source on the planet, “A locavore is a person interested in eating food that is locally produced, not moved long distances to market”. We like that definition, but we’d expand on it by adding that a locavore endeavors to consume locally, when it comes to all products, not strictly foodstuffs.
As for the frugal part, you can just call us cheap. We won’t be offended.
